1. What did you do immediately after high school?
Long story short, I went off to Liberty, Mo to William Jewell College. In my four years there, I played lots of football, enjoyed my fraternity and college experiences, earned a History degree, and found out what it really meant to be an adult (if anyone really understands the meaning of adulthood I would be interested to know...LOL) I also married during my college years (Divorced now) and started a family. (Talk about stressful!) I also changed my last name to Rainwater (Most of you would remember me as J.T. Mendenhall) Long story, but I'm still the same guy. :) No, I didn't take my ex-wife's last name....Rainwater comes from my mom's side of the family.
2. What kind of work do you do? Where do you work?
I am a locomotive Engineer for a Railroad in Kansas City, Mo. (Putting my History degree to good use)
3. Where have you lived since high-school graduation?
Currently living in Saint Joseph, Mo. Been close to the Kansas City area since HS graduation.
4. Name of significant other? How did you meet your significant other?
Holly. She actually hired me for my job at the Railroad (funny how things work out, huh?
5. Do you have any children? Tell us about them.
Is there a word limitation for this question? I have 4 children from my previous marriage (Leah 7, Hallee 5, and my twins Gabriel and Danielle 2) Holly has 3 boys ranging from 7 years to 10 years. Seven kids altogether (We are a modern day Brady Bunch)
6. What is your favorite high-school memory?
There are too many to list...but, if I had to pick one I'd say getting lifted on Justin McGee's shoulders after coming from behind to beat Carthage at the Conference team duel was something I'll never forget. Painting Senior Hill with Jake Russell and Andy Noah is another fond memory.
7. What did you hate most about high school?
How short it was, though at the time I hated how long it was. (How Ironic)
8. If you could do high school all over again, what would you do differently?
I probably wouldn't have been in a serious relationship with anyone, if I had it to do all over again. High School isn't supposed to be so serious.
9. If you could, what would you change about yourself since high-school graduation?
Wish I would have kept better contact with my friends from high school. But, with things like facebook, I'm making up for lost time.
10. What is one thing you wish you’d known ten years ago?
I hate questions like this....(LOL)
11. What is one goal you’d like to accomplish in the next ten years?
To be the best father I can be and to see all of my kids grow up to successful in their own right.
12. Are you coming to the NHS reunion? If so, what are you most looking forward to?
Wouldn't miss it! Excited to catch up with everyone I can and to see how people have done over the last decade. I hope I can make it to all the reunions....as long as Laura is able to find people to help do them. LOL. C U all there!
