Missy (Ewen) Bowers
1. What did you do immediately after high school?
Well let's see... I attempted to attend Crowder College but it would seem that I was more interested in boys, then college. Not real surprising, huh? So after only being graduated from high school for 6 months I found out that I was going to be a Mom! And so the growing up began!
2. What kind of work do you do? Where do you work?
I am an Investment Advisor. I hold my General Securities licenses (7 & 66). I work for Arvest Asset Management and office out of Bella Vista, AR. Retirement Country!!! I've been with Arvest for 4 years now!
3. Where have you lived since high-school graduation?
Well I got real adventurous and stayed right here in Neosho!
4. Name of significant other? How did you meet your significant other?
I was lucky enough to eventually find and fall in love with the man of my dreams! We starting dating on my 22 birthday. I married him in September of 2003 after dating for exactly 11 months! His name is Andy Bowers!
5. Do you have any children? Tell us about them.
He does, I do, and we do! Isn't that how it works these days? Andy has a son, Brycen who is 12. I have Cortlyn who is 8. And Together we have Baylie Jo who is 4, and Wade Austin who is 19 months. And surprisingly we decided that maybe we had enough kids and got Fixed! :)
6. What is your favorite high-school memory?
I have so many. Any and all times spent with friends. Road tripping with flat tires, canoeing and parties at the creek, Halloween night with all the Senior girls, forking yards, Teresa's basement, the list goes on and on and on! If it involved Catherine, Sara Ruth, Sarah Pogue, Chelsey, Aaron, Lorelle, or Teresa, it was bound to be fun (and maybe illegal!)
7. What did you hate most about high school?
Nothing really. I do wish high school wasn't so awkward. It's hard to not be comfortable in your own skin. And for me high school was such a time of uncertainty and wanting to 'fit in'. But on the other hand, it is an amazing feeling to find yourself and figure out who you really are! Even if it does happen after high school.
8. If you could do high school all over again, what would you do differently?
I'm undecided on this one. Half of me would do it again in a heartbeat. The other half would run screaming the other direction. If I did do it, I would definitely consider the consequences of my actions much more then I did the first time!
9. If you could, what would you change about yourself since high-school graduation?
I don't know that I would change anything. I like the person that I've become.
10. What is one thing you wish you’d known ten years ago?
I wish I had known that just because you don't take the most logical path to get to where you're going, doesn't mean that you won't still get there.
11. What is one goal you’d like to accomplish in the next ten years?
Well, in 10 years I'll have an 18 (almost 19 year old). I'd like to see her in College and not so interested in boys as her mother was at that age. ha ha. I'd also like to see my career still growing and strong. And geez, in 10 more years we'll all be almost 40!!!!!!! So I guess I'd like for my family and myself to still be healthy and happy!
12. Are you coming to the NHS reunion? If so, what are you most looking forward to?
Absolutely! Wouldn't miss it for the world. I can not wait to see everyone. Who has changed the most, who hasn't, who married who.. it'll be a blast!

1. What did you do immediately after high school?
Went to Pitt State for a little while and then realized that school just wasn't my thing and I wanted to get back out to the farm.
2. What kind of work do you do? Where do you work?
I managed a bank for about 2 and half years and decided that I didn't like dealing with the public and their money.....they can get pretty snotty when it comes to their money,.......I am currently employed at Nutra Blend, LLC. here in good ol' Neosho. I have been there 4 years and love it. I do some feed formulation work and some customer service work for them.
3. Where have you lived since high-school graduation?
I moved to Pittsburg, KS. for a while and then when I decided school wasn't for me, I came back to live with my parents for a while. After Sarah and I got married, we bought a house in Neosho and still live there.
4. Name of significant other? How did you meet your significant other?
Sarah Kluender. We dated for a year and a half when I was in 8th grade and then the Lord above brought us back together in December of 2001. We have been married since March 8th of 2003. Sarah will be happy that I actually remembered the date!!!! She is the best!
5. Do you have any children? Tell us about them.
We have 2 wonderful boys, Logan is 4 1/2, soon to turn 5 in June and Landon is 1 1/2, and will be 2 in October. They are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me,.....well I would have to include my wife in there as well, but you get the point. Logan loves music!!!! He is a huge Eric Clapton fan, along with numerous others......Heart, Zeppelin, ZZ Top, and the list keeps going on and on. He loves Guitar Hero and Rock Band. He also loves anything that has to do with farming......and riding 4 wheelers!!!
Landon is just a pistol! He reminds Sarah and I of the sea gulls off of Finding Nemo.....mine, mine, mine, mine.....you get the point. He is wonderful though. He is just now starting to get his own little personality.......and I think he is going to give us a run for our money. They are both the best though.
6. What is your favorite high-school memory?
Wow. There are so many of them. High School was great. From the creek parties, to getting painted up for the football games to playing "socky" in the Hughes's basement and breaking my toe on the concrete wall and painting Senior Hill with Big Poppa Joe and Jake. I think just the friendships that I made throughout high school was the greatest memory.
7. What did you hate most about high school?
Waking up in the morning to go.......not a big morning person, unless it comes to hunting season.
8. If you could do high school all over again, what would you do differently?
I think that I probably judged to many people by their cover. I have learned that only the Lord above can do that. I would probably try to be a little bit nicer to everyone, not just my "group" of friends.
9. If you could, what would you change about yourself since high-school graduation?
I don't think I would change anything. The things I have gone through have made me who I am today.
10. What is one thing you wish you’d known ten years ago?
That all the money in the world cannot make you happy. Having a wonderful family and friends and also a relationship with God. That is what makes you happy, and that is the only thing that will ever make you happy.
11. What is one goal you’d like to accomplish in the next ten years?
Just to be the best Father and best Husband that I can be. I think if I do this, then I will have accomplished everything that matters.
12. Are you coming to the NHS reunion? If so, what are you most looking forward to?
Yes, I will be there! I am looking forward to seeing people that I haven't seen in years. Just getting to catch up with everyone will be great. See you soon!

Todd Catron... We met my freshman year in college during a fraternity/sorority social event. We dated throughout college and then moved to OKC together after we graduated. We got married in December 2005.
5. Do you have any children? Tell us about them.
We have one little girl, Molly who just turned two. She is the light of my life! Getting to stay at home with her has been a treat, as I’ve watched her grow and learn. She keeps me on my toes and thoroughly entertained!
6. What is your favorite high-school memory?
This is hard, because I have so many of them! I loved hanging out with friends, in “field” parties, at Rec-Center Dances, even just driving around together …. I also loved the football games, the homecoming week events, and painting the hill!
7. What did you hate most about high school?
I hated how everything seemed so stressful, when in reality, it was the easiest time of my life!
8. If you could do high school all over again, what would you do differently?
I would have placed more importance on school and applying for scholarships…. paying back student loans isn’t much fun!
9. If you could, what would you change about yourself since high-school graduation?
I wish I’d kept in better touch with people! It’s a little sad to me that the people I literally grew up with haven’t been in my life for the last ten years…. I hope to change that in the next ten!
10. What is one thing you wish you’d known ten years ago?
To stop worrying about the future and enjoy life in the present moment.
11. What is one goal you’d like to accomplish in the next ten years?
Find more people to help with the 20-year reunion!!!!
12. Are you coming to the NHS reunion? If so, what are you most looking forward to?
Definitely! Planning this reunion has made me so excited to attend, and I’ve enjoyed reconnecting with everyone as I’ve gathered emails, collected surveys and posted old pictures on our website! I hope we have a great turnout because it truly will be a night to remember!
I moved to Pittsburg, KS and attended Pittsburg State University for four years.
2. What kind of work do you do? Where do you work?
I’m a mom/ graphic designer. I stay at home with my daughter, which I love… and I also do freelance work through my company KJane Designs. I do everything from invitations and stationery to logos and advertising pieces.

Invitations Mailed!
The Reunion Invitations have officially been sent out! Thanks to all of you who sent in your updated address!
A majority of the addresses on the original alumni list were 10 years old, and we're guessing most will come back unsent.... so please try to spread the word verbally if you see people out and about. We have also passed out several invitations around town - at Gas Stations, Liquor Stores, Restaurants and more.... so feel free to pass those on to anyone in our class that did not receive the invitation in the mail!
Looking forward to seeing you all July 18th.
**And don't forget, the RSVP date is July 1st!

4. Name of significant other? How did you meet your significant other?
My Wife, Krystal Madrid. We met at JD Macy's wedding reception.
5. Do you have any children? Tell us about them.
My wife and I have a 4 year old boy named Daven. Very active and very curious. Strong willed. He is going to be paying me back a little possibly. I can already see it! He's my best little buddy in the world. I am very proud.
6. What is your favorite high-school memory?
Definitely Football. The games, the practices, Friday night lights, the band marching up with the cadence, the crowd. Still get chills.
7. What did you hate most about high school?
I guess the clicks, even though I was apart of some. Should have broadened more than I did because I have become good friends with some outside of the main clicks I ran with later on.
8. If you could do high school all over again, what would you do differently?
I would have partied less. It was a lot of fun, but had a high price. I didn't realize that the better parties are in college and after anyway. I tried to grow up too fast and didn't take advantage of being a youngster.
9. If you could, what would you change about yourself since high-school graduation?
I would have worked on my goals before age 26.
10. What is one thing you wish you’d known ten years ago?
Webb City runs the same plays in High School that they did in 5th Grade. RED 9??? or no???
11. What is one goal you’d like to accomplish in the next ten years?
